The concept

Interfacing is a cloth that fixed in a certain part of the garment, which ensure the anticipated look, quality and effect of the fabric.

Basic function

  • To support a certain areas of clothing, such as collars, waistbands, pockets and cuffs, achieve the ideal design modelling requirement.
  • To maintain the good shape and stable size of apparel.
  • To improve the processing performance, anti-wrinkle properties and strength of fabric.
  • To enhance the warmth of the garments and makes the clothes strong and durable.

Before choose the right interfacing fabric, you should know the properties of coating so as to protect your projects need to be sewing or ironing on.

PA fusible interfacing: With good adhesion strength and dry cleaning performance, it can be used for shirt, coat and etc.

PE fusible interfacing: High density HDPE has good washing performance, but the requirements for temperature and pressure are higher, mainly used for men’s shirts. Low density LDPE has good adhesion, but poor in washable performance, mainly used for temporary bonding.

PES fusible interfacing: It has good washing ability, especially for polyester fiber bonding, suitable for polyester imitation fabric.

EVA fusible interfacing: Strong adhesion and poor washing resistance, can be used for temporary bonding.
